Last updated: March 5, 2026

CabinKey is developed by Matthew Hellinghausen. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

What Data CabinKey Collects

CabinKey collects only information that you enter directly into the app: names (first and last) and email addresses of family members you add. This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is never transmitted to any server operated by CabinKey or any third party.

What CabinKey Does Not Collect

CabinKey does not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage data. It does not use advertising or tracking, does not share data with third parties, and has no user accounts or backend server.

Location

CabinKey may request access to your device's location to display an estimated driving time to your property. Location data is used on-device only and is never stored or transmitted. You can revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Calendar Access

CabinKey may request access to Apple Calendar to export booking dates as calendar events. No calendar data is read or transmitted outside the app.

Data Storage and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. To delete all app data, delete CabinKey from your device.

Children's Privacy

CabinKey is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
